Reboot Networks Windows Server &Network Technicians are engaged in network and server support and troubleshooting, on a tier 2-3 level. The person in this position will spend 80% of their time working at a remote help desk. This includes engaging with client staff and systems; performing workstation, server installations and system maintenance checks; troubleshooting Internet connectivity, backup, office application, and email; and other network-wide and desktop-level issues.
This position will coordinate with other internal resources to provide comprehensive, client-focused solutions on trouble issues and new functionality requests, remotely and on-site.
Local Area Travel and Location:
The individual in this role will travel to/from various client sites in North Los Angeles/Pasadena area, and will be in contact with Reboot Networks colleagues and managers virtually, with some visits to our headquarters located in West Los Angeles.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide tier 2-3 level support via telephone and in-person
  • As part of a team, support new installations of network infrastructure including workstations, servers, printers, routers/switches/firewalls, etc.
  • Assembles and configures network components and associated services
  • Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed
  • Perform system maintenance and checks of existing network infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot client Internet connectivity, VPN, backup and other network wide issues
  • Provide end-user desktop support and troubleshooting in Windows/Office environment
  • Provide comprehensive client-focused solutions to address problems and new functionality requests from end-users, client IT staff and Reboot Networks team members
  • Efficiently execute maintenance and support procedures, anticipating the needs of clients and communicating clearly with all interested parties using email, ticket tracking systems, telephone and in-person
  • Document all relevant infrastructure adjustments, augmentation and deployment within the Reboot Networks documentation system
